🚨 NEW SHOW ALERT 🚨 Starting Sunday, 17 August, Central Radio North West brings you Love Central — three hours of the best relaxing and chilled songs on your radio, hosted by Andy Saunders. Every Sunday night from 9pm–midnight, it’s your perfect soundtrack for winding down the weekend.
What you’ll hear.
Each week you’ll get a rich mix of timeless love songs and laid-back favourites from artists like Adele, Ed Sheeran, Lewis Capaldi, Mariah Carey, and George Michael. You might even hear gems such as K-Ci & JoJo – “All My Life”, All-4-One – “I Swear”, or Maria McKee – “Show Me Heaven” — sequenced to flow naturally, keeping the mood smooth from start to finish.
Behind the music.
As Head of Music, I’ve worked on the format and track selection using Myriad Scheduler to craft hour clocks, tempo shifts, and the right segues. While the sound is a team effort, my focus has been on the music architecture that lets Andy Saunders deliver a show that feels effortless on-air.
